I found myself laughing my head off and crying my eyes outAlthough it isnt necessary to the story it doesnt harm either. For a rebellious teen Alexis is likable and Kasey, in spite of being possessed by the ghost 90% of the time, is quite cuteJaycee is a bit clueless at times, particularly when it comes to Skyler, but it’s an authentic adolescent navet that insists that the people she has known from childhood must be good people, if only for that reasonMy house also doesn't have doors that close all by themselves or water that boils on an unlit stoveBut they're also long enough to keep you hookedYes, I still have her and shes as old as meStrong characterization will draw readers inIf a book is 500 pages then those 500 pages better be the best shit I have ever read
Snooooozefest.Prose: The actual words told the story clearly enough, I just felt like some of the events in the story contradicted other events and JUST when I felt like I/the story was making progress, everything falls back to contradictory-town.Would I Recommend This Book?: NopeMore strangely than normal anyhowBut when it comes to a good creepy book? Sign me up! There is just something about reading a story that makes it both better, and worse and this story, definitely had the creep factor, gave me goose bumps and had me looking over my shoulder while reading and I loved every minute of it!I don't want to go into too much detail btu if you are still looking for a great creepy read, this is the book for youflag 4 likesLike see review And the doll pointed at Kelsey and looked at me and said Your sister is crazy. What I loved most about this quote was the randomness of itApr 30, 2009 Shannon (Giraffe Days) rated it really liked it Shelves: ya, horror, 2009, cover-love Alexis leads a rebellious lifeRachel and Jaycee have been friends since, basically the womb, and when Rachel is murdered; Jaycee is sent into shockThe premise is quite cliche when you think about itWhen I was about ten, my cousin who was five at that time came over to our home and I wasnt interested in her, I was doing my own thingSuffice to say that I was not impressed with any element of this book.I mostly didn't care about any of the characters
ok gerildim.ya byle kitaplar okurken istemsizce arada oday kontrol ediyorumVery mysterious; a few twists here and there to keep things interesting, and there's also the mention of a continued issue in society people often turn a blind eye toAs the action develops, though, there are too many plot points both in and out of the ghost story; the multifarious elements are crammed in and abruptly hauled on and offstage according to story need, and the story logic isn't always readily apparentThe police thinks it is gang related but Jaycee is not so sure because Rachel has left her cluesThere's Jaycee, the narrator and main character who doesn't seem to have much of a personality
And yeah, she's a strict law abider, which I feel is why she would be inclined to go to the cops, but she hardly even does thatI agree with the reviews that say they wanted to read more about all the characters, and so I am vAs Alexis teams up, reluctantly, with the head cheerleader at her school, in an effort to help Kasey, the book takes turns which are even more sinisterI always joke that the first rule of writing YA is to get rid of the parentsIt was not as scary as I want it to be but the story was goodExcept I don't have a sister possessed by a creepy dead girl doll ghost thingflag 7 likesLike see review View all 4 comments 171bf2437f
